In this life we have complete control over our will (or our minds/hearts). People can dictate where we go and what we do but they can’t have our hearts unless we surrender them up. I guess the question that comes to mind is what or who do we give our allegiance to?
We all give ourselves to someone or something so what is it for you?

Wow, I like to think that I have complete control over my mind and heart, but I’m not sure that I always do. More than once I have been surprised at the depth of emotion/attachment I have discovered toward something or someone, and other times I’ve been appalled at my lack of passion when I thought my heart was in it.
So with that said, who do I consciously give my allegiance to? Simply, those who have earned my trust. Those who have proven their love and allegiance to me, or have indicated something to that effect. And even then, there are levels…
To be solid and clear on at least one thing — you have my loyalty Tina!
