I have been in a blog-funk lately. Deana: I love not having carpet. It is so yukky what lives in there! Have you ever seen those magnified pics of the mites? ... eww!!! Alan: I can tell you have an eye for this. Most people don't notice the nuances. Thanks for your comments. Of course I remember you!! Dean really enjoyed his time with you too! As far as Vox ... Slow and hopefully steady progress. We just did a "tester" Cafe on Sunday and it ROCKED! we had over 100 people ... mostly non believers. Dean is going to Miami with Alex next week to talk about the Cafe idea at the IMN Miami Regional conference. These cafes are really gonna happen. I can feel it!! Good things ahead. Will you be in town for Origins? Niza: I can't wait to see you. Saturday is gonna be great. Bring your appetite ... Dean's BBQ ribs are amazing! Sam: Thanks! How are you doing? Danny: Hi! Well, that's a good question. You are observant. In the dining room we used to have brown paint on the walls. When we added the family room we decided to retexture the walls so that the drywall is thick. Kinda looks like an old adobe house or an Italian villa with chipping walls. It is an artistic look I guess. We haven't painted yet so the texture is very obvious. hopefully I haven't lost all of my readers becasue of my lack of input... I guess we'll see. I love how the "river" separates the two sections of grid tile which are on different angles. Reminds me of something... I started out in college as an architecture major and made this one house design around the interplay between grids on different angles. Haven't visited your site since you got on vox I don't think. It was so pretty. But Steve was transferred to California for 8 months and we thought we were joingin him, so we put the house up for sale and the realtor insisted the only way it would sale was to put carpet back down...so we did...and didn't end up moving...and still hate the carpet.
