I was running today and listening to my iPod on shuffle mode. This song came on and definitely caused me to pause and reflect … I think it is worth recording here considering last weeks events …
TRY TO SEE IT MY WAY
The Beatles (Lennon/McCartney)
Try to see it my way,
Do I have to keep on talking till I can’t go on?
While you see it your way,
Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.
Think of what you’re saying.
You can get it wrong and still you think that it’s alright.
Think of what I’m saying,
We can work it out and get it straight, or say good night.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.
Life is very short, and there’s no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend.
I have always thought that it’s a crime,
So I will ask you once again.
Try to see it my way,
Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong.
While you see it your way
There’s a chance that we may fall apart before too long.
We can work it out,
We can work it out.

Jake
It is good for us to remember. As Tiffany mentioned, it gets tough when we’re the only one trying.

Tina, this song brings me hope that we can work out our differences. I\’ve been so upset, remembering some of our conversations this week. Even though we are more like water and oil, I truly believe in my heart that we can become milk and Oreos (they don\’t use real butter in Oreos anyway; it\’s hydrogenated oil). It\’s a shame that our source of conflict lays in our color choices, but I have faith that we can work it out. Thank for choosing not to hate me because I love pink. I will try to embrace your purple.
LOL
WE CAN WORK IT OUT
Seriously, cool song! I love that it just \”popped up\” (haha, I had a typo and it said \”pooped up\”) out of the blue. God is rad.
