(Hey everyone, it’s Dean. Today is Christina’s birthday so I’ve hijacked her VOX to create this space for you to leave her a little love. Enjoy!)

dean

Happy Birthday, Love.

Sam.

Hey Tina! Happy Birthday!! Have a great day. I’m so glad I got to meet you…you’re an amazing lady!

Sam.

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Tina…..Happy birthday to you!!! (That was sung!). I hope you have a lovely day. I’ll be thinking of you. You are a truly unique and inspirationally fully alive person to know! Have a birthday hug from me xxx

Deana

Happy Birthday Dear Tina!

Tina

Sam ~ Thanks for the nice birthday wishes! My day would be complete if I could actually hear you sing Happy birthday to me with that lovely British accent!

Oh … by the way … We rented the british version of The Office. It is funny. But, I laugh louder with our version. I was surprised to see that the american version isn’t just loosely based on the british version but actually some the script dialog is identical!

Tina

Thanks Deana. First you showed the love on myspace and now here! You are the best!!

Lon

happy b-day, hope it’s an excellent one!

stacijoy

I’m just squeezing in my birthday wishes here… hope your day was special my friend. A few more hours to go… is it going to go out with a bang????

Sam.

That second “Sam” up there is actually Rachel! (Though I would of course be still happy to sing for you if you so required!)

As you laughing more at the American version of The Office….not sure what to say. I can’t imagine it being close to the English version though with Ricky Gervais. (One of my favourtie stories with him actually is of Madonna coming up to him and saying, “Hi Ricky”, and him (deliberately) responding, “and you are?”)

We’ve been watching some of the second series of his new program called “Extras”. That’s funny too!

tina

Rachel, I would LOVE to hear you sing me Happy Birthday! Thanks for your kind words.

Ya know what’s funny, I don’t see Ricky Gervals character as being as dorky as the American Steve Carell’s character. Steve plays his part so well that sometimes it is panful to watch because you feel so bad for him. Maybe I am not picking up on the subtle english humor! Thoughts?

tina

Thanks Lon.

Staci, the thoughts you e-mailed me were amazing. Could you really be talking about me? You describe someone I want to be. I love you my dear friend!
Thanks for hanging last night and for the AMAZING!!!! banana cream pie. I can truly die now and be content. I am so serious that pie was sooo good. In fact, I am going to go eat some more right now! I don’t care that it is morning…I am eating banana cream pie!

Wanna go to the gym today?

Sam.

Maybe you and Dean should pop round and we can watch it together…you could see first hand the things that make us laugh! (Steve and Deana were very amused listening to our comments when we were watching the American version of The Apprentice when they were over!)

niza

i just saw this post… how sweet of dean :) did you see my happy bday message on your myspace? anyway, hope you had a great day my friend. wish i had been there to celebrated it with one of the nicest, coolest, beautiful spirit person i know… dang, i miss you… muah!

Mel

Happy (late) birthday, Sweet Heart. Here are some quotes for you:

A traditional one:
“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.â€?
-Abraham Lincoln

A profound one:
“Because time itself is like a spiral, something special happens on your birthday each year: the same energy that God invested in you at birth is present once again.”
-Menachem Mendel Schneerson

And a hilarious and rather shattering one:
“My mother groaned, my father wept,
into the dangerous world I leapt;
helpless, naked, piping loud,
like a fiend hid in a cloud.”
-William Blake

Enjoy!

in response to your comment on my page:

We’re doing well…wishing we were moving to Sheffield! It was an amazing trip. Max did so well…something we were testing a bit this trip. He hasn’t been the same since we got home…in a good way!

We moved here not knowing anyone and leaving all of our friends and family too. There are just so many things you can do outdoors here…if she’s an outdoorsy type. And plenty to do with kids too. What area is she moving to? You can give her my email if you’d like and I’ll try to answer any questions she has.

beth

Sorry I missed your birthday, but hoping it was a wonderful day. We share the same birthday, only I’m MUCH older.

:-)

niza

to answer your question: i was born in rio de janeiro but grew up in recife. my parents have been in salvador (bahia) for the last 20+ years.

Tina

Thanks Mel … “like a fiend hid in a cloud” … yeah, that could describe me sometimes! hahaha

Deana … I hear ya about moving! I want to be in Europe now! What has changed in Max? Why do you think he is different now?
Thanks for the openness about talking to my friend. They would be in the Denver area. But, they may not go now. His company is being wishy-washy. I will hook you guys up if they do move.

Thanks Beth! And Happy Birthday to you! Gosh, I know so many Libras!! I just found out my personal trainer at the gym celebrated his birthday on October 17th!

Niza, I told my friend about where you lived. Her husband was more in the south. It’s so cool they are teaching their 2 year old daughter Portuguese!

Tina

Rachel … I watched more of the English Office last night. We put subtitles on which helped so much (kinda weird huh? putting subtitles on for people speaking english!!!) I laughed a lot more. But, there are so many words and slang and jokes that are so not american. But, I do like it! It is growing on me!!

Sam.

Subtitles watching The Office…brilliant!

Deana

Max is so much more vocal since we got back. And he wants to be out and about a lot more…we’ve noticed if we’ve not gotten out with him he’s really bored acting and just sleeps. Since he can’t communicate with words it’s difficult to figure these things out. All this time he’s just not been getting enough outside stimulation!

We’re in the Denver area too…so if your friend ends up here hook us up! I’ll be happy to give her any info about the mile high city!

Rich Brimer

Happy Belated Birthday! I hope things are going well for you. Maybe I will be seeing more of you in the near future!!! Peace, Rich

abhishek
